BENEFITING: MAKE-A-WISH FOUNDATION OF CENTRAL CALIFORNIA
ORGANIZER: MAKE-A-WISH FOUNDATION OF CENTRAL CALIFORNIA
EVENT DATE: Sep 18, 2016
Steve is a native of Sanger, and he has been a Police Officer for the BNSF Railroad for nine years. In 2015, he was named Special Agent of the Year. Steve is heavily involved with Make-A-Wish; he serves as a wish granting volunteer and visits children and their families during the wish process.
Steve has two daughters he loves spending time with - his youngest is thirteen, and his oldest is almost 18. He loves to go on outdoor and coastal adventures with them. Some of his favorite trips involve hiking, snow skiing, or visiting the coast. You can always find him rooting for the Giants during baseball season!
He will do anything to help children - he has supported Valley Children’s Hospital for many years, and he is excited to support Make-A-Wish by being a Shoe Guy at Wine Women & Shoes for the first time. Join Steve in bringing hope, strength, and joy to children in the Central Valley!
Make-A-Wish® grants the wish of a child diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition in the United States and its territories. We believe that a wish experience can be a game-changer. This one belief guides us in everything we do. It inspires us to grant wishes that change the lives of the kids we serve. The Central California chapter was founded in 1986, Make-A-Wish Central California chapter has granted over 2,000 wishes and serves eight counties: Fresno, Madera, Merced, Mariposa, Kern, Kings, Tulare and Inyo. We grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.
