BENEFITING: GLBTQ Domestic Violence Project
EVENT DATE: Feb 26, 2012
When asked three words to describe me, friends and family had the following to say:
Smart, playful, loyal, spontaneous, socially responsible, spirited, creative, beautiful (thanks Pam), compassionate, energetic and loving. My big brother described me as quirky. But no one said competitive And yet, we all know that everyone has a bit of a competitive streak in them. Even me!
The Gay Men's Domestic Violence Project's 8th Annual Winter Plunge is Sunday February 26, 2012. For the past two years I've won the Golden Plunger Award for the most funds raised for the critically important project. And this is where my competetive streak comes into play. By raising $4,000,(double what I raised last year) not only am I certain that I will continue my reign for a third year, but more importantly funds raised will be used to provide the necessary services needed for all victims of domestic violence. Please support me as I brave the fridig waters again on Sunday 2/26/2012
And as years past, the game is still the same. For those who donate $100 you will receive a oh so yummy mushroom pate. $150.00 gets you a mushroom pate and a sundried tomato, pesto torte. Ask any of my friends and they'll tell you it's sooo worth it. And don't forget it's a great cause. Thank you for your support
For those of you looking for a great way to spend your Sunday morning, join us ! We'll be at Carson's Beach in South Boston. We plunge at 12 noon!
