A few weeks ago I heard a story that I am still in shock about. A family, whose son had a mental illness, tied him up to a tree and left him there for a long time. They would bring him food and water regularly. The parents didn't want their child to live like that, but they didn't know what to do with him. The parents lacked something I consider a necessity of life: education. How can we blame the parents for the education that they never offered? How long can we let people like this live without the proper education? How long can we let these families suffer? Something needs to be done and any, I mean any, contribution you can make will help families such as these become educated on what they should do in such a situation.
