My wife Korie and I are among 1 in 8 American couples that are unable to have children naturally because of infertility. While we were fortunate to have generous family that enabled us to undergo In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) to bring our wonderful daughter Adalynn to us, we know that other couples are not as lucky.
This October, I am running the ING Hartford Marathon on behalf of Resolve. Resolve is a non-profit organization with the only established, nationwide network mandated to promote reproductive health and to ensure equal access to all family building options for men and women experiencing infertility or other reproductive disorders.
My goal is to raise $100 per mile I run in the marathon, or $2,620. None of the money I raise will be for Korie and me. I am raising this money so that Resolve can help other couples who do not have the means we had.
