Ricky Aid - Beginnings
Organized by: Richard Dabbs
Finally a chance for a new life and I with your help I can live my dream to help others make their lives happier. My name is Rick and I'm a Marine Corp veteran who suffers with schizoaffective disorder. Right now I'm living in my repair-needing SUV, but now a new program exists that will get me off the streets and into a place of my own. However, that does not include basic furnishings and utility deposits. Plus I want to go further than that and set up with a sense of purpose and a duly to others.
First I need to fuel and repair my 1997 Ford Explorer. To start, it needs the alternator replaced followed by just about everything else as it is an old car. Gasoline is always in short supply being that I, when you live in your car, you move it pretty often and us up fuel to run air conditioning and charge the batteries a lot more. More importantly, once HUD-VASH issues the voucher I'll have to travel around looking for a place. Car expenses est: $565
Next I'll need to pay deposit plus last months rent. $2400
Utility deposit: $400
