Wofford supports Project HOPE Foundation, a local Upstate South Carolina-based provider of services and programs to families dealing with an autism diagnosis. Now, 1 in 50 school-aged children are diagnosed on the autism spectrum. Additionally, the young adult population is in desperate need of a compassionate community where they can live, work and play. Wofford's baseball team sent 35 participants to last year's (2012) HOPE Relay. We are excited to have an even bigger presence this year in the 2013 HOPE Relay.
We are "in it for the long run" and hope you will support our efforts!
