BENEFITING: HUMANITY FIRST USA
Family, I have been granted the opportunity to join Humanity First USA and serve the local women of Guatemala!
What's going on?
Guatemala is this beautiful country; rich in it's deeply rooted culture of family, food, and music. Influences of Guatemalan culture can be seen at every end of the world! However, war has left Guatemalan's with little to no access to many basic necessities. One of the greatest needs is accessible healthcare. Cervical cancer is completely preventable and is the leading cancer causing death amongst Guatemalan women! At their Women's Health Camp, Humanity First USA has screened more than 3,000 women for cervical cancer/pelvic infections since 2015. HF USA is also providing on-site cancer treatment AND treated 19 women found to have cancerous lesions! These under-served women are also educated on relevant topics like women's nutrition, pelvic infections, pregnancy complications, domestic violence, mental health, and more.
What does this have to do with Josh?
I sincerely want to be apart of the work Humanity First USA is doing at the Women's Health Camp this November in Guatemala! I believe it's our purpose as humans to serve each other. I deeply believe it is my calling to aid those in need in whatever way I can. In addition to needing medical assistance, the clinic needs a lot of IT assistance for it's daily operations. This is where I come in. Camp functions completely on volunteers and donations, I'm ready to answer the call, but this time, I need my family's help.
How can you help?
Through a tax-deductible sponsorship or donation towards this volunteer work, you can also make a difference. These trips are entirely funded through volunteer contributions, thus your generous donation will make our clinic a success. My goal is to raise $2200 to cover my volunteer fee and funds to cover my airfare. Any additional funds that are raised on my page will go towards the Women's Health Camp 2016. Please join me and Humanity First USA in supporting and serving the women of Guatemala and donate to this amazing cause.
Thank you family!
