Women’s Bean Project employs women who come from backgrounds of chronic unemployment and poverty, and helps them develop the work and interpersonal skills needed to function independently in the workplace and community.
At Women's Bean Project, product sales create jobs, but your charitable contributions pay for the life skills training essential to each woman's long term success.
- $500 pays for ten women to spend six hours in computer skills training.
- $100 provides a woman forklift training and certification, giving her access to higher-wage employment
- $50 pay for three women to go on an interview for a career-entry-level job.
- $20 allows a woman to attend a class in financial management
All donations contribute to the skills training that changes lives and makes women better employees, mothers and contributors to our community.
