BENEFITING: MOBILITY INTERNATIONAL USA
EVENT DATE: Jul 30, 2016
The Women’s Institute on Leadership and Disability (WILD) is the signature women’s leadership training program of Mobility International USA (MIUSA).
This highly selective, intensive three-week training brings together women with disabilities from around the world to share their experiences and strategies, build skills and strengthen networks of support. The training is held in Eugene, Oregon, a model city that embraces human rights, diversity and inclusion.
Women with disabilities who are selected for the WILD program demonstrate leadership potential. WILD is an investment in that potential which will “trampoline” them to the next level.
Last month, we opened up the call for applications for WILD 2016, and women from around the world responded in a big way! In all, we received a whopping 375 applications! Ultimately, 20 grassroots women activists with disabilities will be selected to participate in the program this August.
We have raised the majority of the funding we need for WILD 2016. This campaign is the final push that will bring us to our fundraising goal to make the program happen. We can't do this without you!
Please contact MIUSA directly if you'd like to make a contribution offline. We can still count your donation as part of this campaign.
