Dignity is everything
The Women’s Lunch Place provides a safe, comfortable daytime shelter, nutritious food, and services for women who are homeless or low-income. We treat women with dignity and respect, and foster a community committed to meeting each woman’s needs.
The Women's Lunch Place is committed to honoring the dignity of each guest. We are a small community-based shelter and there are no requirements to receive any of our services. We serve healthy, filling breakfasts and lunches in a welcoming community. Our guests can use showers, nap room, and laundry facilities. We offer advocacy, medical care, job readiness activities, art classes, a Resource Center, and much more to improve the quality of life for over 1,000 women each year. 97% of guests report that the WLP has made a difference in their lives.
