For the next month and a half, Hamilton athletic teams and supporters are participating in a fundraising campaign called the “Hamilton Locker Room Challenge.” Members of the womens lacrosse, squash and soccer teams have teamed up to fundraise together!
As you may know, our sports teams recently joined the highly competitive NESCAC conference and have performed admirably, yet our current locker rooms do not reflect our level of play and enthusiasm. While 30% of the student body currently plays at the varsity level and the number of men’s and women’s teams has more than doubled, we have lived in the same locker rooms since the 1970s.
Generous donations have gotten us close to the needed funding for new locker rooms, but we are not there yet. Through this campaign, we hope to reach our goal and begin construction on new locker rooms and renovation on all existing facilities. Not only will the current student-athletes appreciate the locker rooms, but new facilities will attract recruits and help our athletics program grow.
Thank you in advance for your support!
