This earth day we're raising our voices for healthy homes & environment. Our Tide Free & Gentle campaign challenges Procter & Gamble - the manufacturer - to remove trace elements of cancer-causing 1,4 dioxane in their product. Help us turn up the volume!
We published a report recently called, Dirty Secrets: What's Hiding in your Cleaning Products?, the results of which found high levels of the toxic chemical in the detergent. 1,4-dioxane is no where to be seen on either the product label or the Tide website, so how are even the most educated and savvy of consumers to know?
How scary is that?!
Last Friday the 13th, we organized a flash mob on the Tide Facebook page, and our supporters voices earned us coverage in the New York Times Green Blog.
Additionally, we've joined forces with MomsRising and Healthy Child Healthy World to create an online petition asking P&G to remove this harmful toxin.
And finally, we're raising our voices this Earth Day and hoping you'll join us. Help us raise the funds we need to keep our momentum moving forward!
Share this page with your friends, donate to help us reach our goal, or sign the petition! (Or all three if you're feeling extra excited!)
