Hi there friends and family, well I am sure you are all shocked by now to see I have voluntarily subjected myself to a half marathon. And, if you know me well you all know that I am not a runner. Matter of fact, I dislike it very much! However, I am not running for me. I am running for an orphanage in Thailand. Last fall, God rocked my world. And from there it has been an incredible journey. From accepting Christ as my Lord and Savior, to beginning to study theology and Christian Ministries in college, and now joining Woodside Runners in the Detroit Free Press Marathon. Wow! I have no words other than, join me. I am looking to raise money for this incredible ministry. This past week we were able to meet in person some of the orphans from Thailand that we support and to see the smiles and joy on their faces is inspiring.
Please, if you can donate what your heart feels, pray on the opportunity to help our church continue to operate and support the House of Light Orphanage in the hills of Chiang Rai. You won’t be disappointed.
Thank you for your support,
