THE STORY:

I am running my first half-marathon in October and need your support to sponser me as I raise money for the orphans in Thiland. In 2007, our church Woodside Bible church started building an orphanage in Chiang Rai, and currently have over 60 children who are saved from the sex slave and provided a wonderful life.  We have been training for 6 weeks so far, and I am dedicated!  I am running for a cause, to protect orphans.  Please friends and family, I would love your encouragment to sponser me on this journey! Each donation will push me harder, no matter how much you donate. :-) My goal is 1,000 dollars, so here we go!

Why Orphans?

Every child deserves a safe home. Over 2 million Akha people live in Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Southern China. Akha orphans are victims of the Southeast Asia sex slave trade. Woodside Bible Church built the Thailand Orphanage, offering a safe and caring environment for orphans. Team Woodside partners with the Akha House of Light Orphanage, helping to create fullness of life for children in need.
