As many of you may know, I have recently achieved my lifelong dream of becoming a pilot. I decided a great way to celebrate is to set a world record between the University of Michigan and the Ohio State University. Specifically, I’ll be attempting to set the world record between the cities of Ann Arbor Michigan, and Columbus Ohio in a C-1/b category aircraft. While the world record attempt will be a enjoyable and challenging flight, the real reason I’d like to do this is to raise money for CS Mott Children’s Hospital. I’ve partnered with them through Crowdrise to raise money. Due to weather, and recording setting paperwork I have chosen the tentative date of December 27th, 2016 as the record attempt day. The flight should last about 2.5 hours. I’d like to thank the NAA, CS Mott, and Air Traffic Controllers at Ann Arbor and Bolton Field for making this attempt possible. Due to weather volatility in the mitten this time of year, this date may change. Please consider donating to one of the greatest health systems in the country, and know that all of your money is going to CS Mott! I will be covering all the associated expenditures with the flight, so let’s raise some money for a great cause together, and Go Blue!
