Put simply, we treat children with cancer not fortunate enough to live in the developed world. And where treatment isn’t possible, we provide effective pain relief. We have a proven model that significantly changes the survival rate through “twinning” or capacity building partnerships between hospitals in the developed and the developing worlds and critical support services. Our vision is a world where every child with cancer has equal access to the best treatment & care.
World Child Cancer globally operates 9 programs with the USA operations focused on communities in Mexico. In 2015, almost 4,000 children were helped and 1,500 medical professionals were trained. World Child Cancer USA, based in Denver CO, is a 501©3 public charity.
