World War II Vets in need of a Grave Marker
Organized by: Shana Hector
I have recently been researching and mapping my family history . This research shed light on the lesser known side of my family that John and Ernest belonged to. After discovering both Ernest and John were buried with their long deceased parents, I realized that their was nothing physically there to mark their shared resting place. It saddened me to think that they laid in unmarked graves just because they had never married or had families of their own. I did some more research and found that the United States Army does generously provide a marker. I immediatly contacted Holy Sepulchre and found that they require a payment $465 for the marker's foundation. The government general claim forms are complete for both Ernest and John as all I need now is to raise $430 so that my uncles, will have a place to be remembered in this world. A place that myself and others can visit and pay tribute. Any support is much appreaciated. My facebook profile is Shay Hectagon if you would like to contact me or ask me any questions. Thank you!
