The Women's Resource Agency has a 99% high school graduation rate for the girls who go through our InterCept Programs. We support girls ages 14-18 who are depressed, using drugs, skipping classes, vandalizing and overall, report a lack of healthy adult relationships or sense of belonging. They come to us through the criminal justice system, foster care or are referred through junior high and high school staff. Our most recent graduates include students going on to Colorado College to study environmental science and Pikes Peak Communty College to become a police officer. Girls learn about decision making, healthy relationships and leadership. Operation Girl is a great way to get involved in supporting our critical work with girls in El Paso County.
