Because there's NO CURE for all the ills associated with lack of exercise (i.e. increased risks of heart disease, diabetes, depression, and many cancers), and because my own incurable arthritis challenges are painful limitations to my exercising, I know that I nevertheless have to fill my own RxExercise (exercise as medicine). I have two Total Hips Replacements and just last month learned that I also have degenerative joint disease in my feet. (Genetically flawed fellow that I am, I'm so thankful for modern medicine, and my medical caregivers, that's helping me to stay active even if slowed by the challenges of arthritis and advancing age.) So, I want to stay optimally healthy and fit for life's challenges despite my degenerative joints disease. No one else can fill my RxExercise (exercise prescription), but others can choose to cheer me, encourage me, walk & run with me, and even donate to my Charities Challenge RxExercise Ambassadorship. I plan on continuing to exercise into the New Year 2012, stay as strong as my arthritis limitations allow, coach & train with others, many with their own big health challenges. And with every step I'll be telling my & others' RxExercise success stories, then travel with CC RxExercise Ambassador Teams to destination events like the Big Wild Life Run in Anchorage, AK, and the Marine Corps Marathon in Wash D.C. in 2012. Please also contact me when ready to "Take the RxExercise Challenge" with me and Train, Tell, and Travel to Great Ambassador Destinations as a RxExercise Ambassador. If you can't donate, please send an encouraging note to "Keep on keepin' on, Coach Gary"!
