Wynne Wood Memorial Fund
Organized by: Bill Watt
This fund is created by friends of Wynne and her children Diane and Jon as a tribute to Wynne's life as mother, sister, friend, successful business woman, singer, actor and wit. 50% of all donations will go to defray the staggering costs of keeping Wynne in great comfort during the last years of her life as she slowly succumbed to dementia. Wynne had not planned for a future where she might be incapacitated, and the financial burden fell heavily on the shoulders of her two children. A burden that they are not in a position to meet. The other 50% is to be donated in Wynne's name to the Flint School for the Performing Arts, (FSPA) helping to fund young women wanting to train in voice and acting; like Wynne herself, moving to New York City as a young aspiring singer in the early 1950's.
