Wyoming Public Library provides a variety of materials, services, opportunities and programming. We work to go above and beyond to provide our patrons with what they need and want. We also host several community events including the Easter Egg Hunt, Halloween Party and after school programing on early dismissal days.
To provide these services our budget needs $2500 in donations this fiscal year. When we are able to raise more than budgeted we save for building repairs, and work on a wish list of items that we would like to provide for you.
Upcoming building repairs and maintenance include: replacing the back door, replacing windows in the backroom, putting linoleum in the backroom and kitchen, replacing ceiling tiles, updating light fixtures for better lighting in the building, installing ceiling fans, updating electrical, and replacing the boarded up windows in the upstairs of the building.
Items from the wish list include: replace children’s shelving with kid friendly shelves, a projector for programing and public use, upgrades to technology, dicut machine for public use, children’s rug for the backroom, a paper shredder for public use, updates to the wifi, carpet cleaner, more programing and community opportunities, and always more books. Let us know what you want added to the wish list.
If you have not been in the library please stop by and take a peek. Let us know how we can better serve you!
