My name is Cornell. I'm currently employed at Trademans International here in Indy. I've been here about a 1yr and a half now, but Im ready to be my own boss. The pay is good I must say. It's just the hours that I have an issue with. I'm working Monday through Saturday 8am to 8pm. I barely have time for my fiancé and our 3 children except for when I was laid off for the winter, and certain holidays. My fiancé has a part time job, and our children go to school as she works. We have a son(4), and 2 daughters(2&1). She pretty much handles them on her(not financially), and that doesn't sit well with me. Anywho, I don't mean to get all personal, but for a while now I've been anticipating starting my own carpet cleaning business. I've been inspired by working with Indianapolis's finest Mr. Harlan Larouche. I worked with him at his company 'Rock Solid Carpet Cleaning' for 2yrs. I've grown to love, and enjoy the job. Plus its pretty easy, and it's something Im great at doing. I decided to name my company Wyricks Carpet Cleaning. I've been thinking of mottos too lol. "Dirty Carpet? No need to fear the Wyricks are Here!" or something like, "We Remove Stains to Get your Carpet Looking Brand New Again!" It will come to me eventually lol. In the meantime, my fiancé and I have calculated the expenses to be $18,750. That's with the company's van, office space, business cards, supplies, and miscellaneous needs included. So far we've saved up $6,425. That leaves a remaining balance of $12,325. We will continue to save, but we ask, if you can, please donate to help get business up and running. If you have other sources maybe a cheaper route please feel free to email me at Thanks. God bless!
