YASC Mission to Tanzania
Organized by: Andy Russell
I will be serving in Dodoma, Tanzania with The Carpenter's Kids program. Beginning in 2005, the Anglican Diocese of Central Tanganyika began The Carpenter's Kids (CK) as a way to provide education and support to orphans who have lost one or both parents to HIV/AIDS. In addition to education, CK provides students a school uniform, school supplies, breakfast each school day, and other vital goods to their health and welfare.
With an estimated 40,000 HIV/AIDS orphans within the Diocese, The Carpenter's Kids helps to fill an urgent need. Without such support, many of these orphans will end up on the street.
YASC missionaries are required to raise $10,000 for their mission. It would mean the world to me if you could contribute. Every bit truly helps!
Thank you so much for your support!
