Through fundraising and community collaborations, the Merrimack Valley YMCA will deliver more than $3 million in subsidized services to needy and deserving children, adults and families.
We believe that by helping our neighbors, all our lives are deeply enriched and our community is strengthened. We’re here to work together with you and others to create a stronger, more vital and inclusive community. We’ve been listening and responding to critical community needs since day one. Whether developing skills or emotional well-being, welcoming and connecting diverse populations or advocating for healthier communities, the Y fosters the care and respect all people need and deserve.
And believe it or not, the NEED is right here in our community. For example,
890 individuals received financial assistance to participate in programming at the Andover/N. Andover YMCA in 2013.
$67,723 in financial assistance was awarded in 2013, making programs at the Andover/N.Andover YMCA accessible to those in need.
We ask staff, volunteers and members to consider a tax deductible gift to the YMCA and remind them that 100% of the money donated goes directly to those who need it. Whether it is afterschool care for a working family or teaching children to be safe around the water, every year the impact is felt in our community.
Thank you for making a difference in the lives of those around you.
