The YMCA is a pretty great place. Children really benefit from the experiences the YMCA provides. As a child, I was part of the Y's swim team, was a lifeguard, set pins at the bowling alley, taught swim lessons with Harry Jones, and worked in the gym with Roger Childs. Before Camp Connor existed, I was a counselor at the YMCA's daycamp at Lost Valley. All three of my daughters learned how to swim here, and remember time at Camp Connor. The YMCA has been an important part of my family, and continues to play a vital role for hundreds of Lewiston-Auburn families today.
With recent state and federal cuts, it's important that the community step up so that these services can continue to be provided to working families. Our donations have a direct impact on the YMCA's after school programs, daycare services, and Camp Connor. Please join me by supporting the YMCA with a financial donation.
