The bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City, on April 19, 1995 killed 168 men, women and children and was the worst terrorist attack on American soil to that date. Worse, it was committed by American citizens. The Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum is a beautiful tribute to the spirit of our state and a reminder of how people from all over the country can come together in love, to help lift one another up. In April 2001, the first Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon took place and has since grown to one of the 12 "Must Run" marathons in the WORLD and has grown from 5000 participants to now over 23,000. This is a time to remember, reflect, and give back to the community and to show the world what Oklahoman's are made of. In 2016, 5 friends and coworkers will run in the relay. This is an opportunity for the 5 of us to grow personally and collectively. Together we will run, to give back to the state we love. We are asking for your support. We have set a modest goal of $1000.00 however, we look forward to exceeding that number, with all of your help. Any amount is appreciated.
