THE STORY:
As an organization for girls, Young Ladies of Excellence (YLOE) believes in the potential of girls everywhere. By supporting this walk, the members of YLOE are not only learning about empowerment, but also how to help break down the barriers that prevent women and girls from reaching their full potential. If you support our team, you will help raise vital funds for CARE projects that assist communities in overcoming barriers to girls’ and women’s security, health and opportunity. YLOE has set a fundraising goal of $600, which among other things, could potentially supply three families with $200 winterization kits. Winterization kits allow mothers and daughters to stay warm, dry, and safe during the cold months. It also keeps crops, animals, tools, and resources from being ruined due to inclement weather – which can be devastating for families. Please support this effort and help us prove that potential is greater than poverty.
