THE STORY:

Domestic violence affects everyone - help us make sure Sonoma County families stay safe from harm.  


The YWCA Sonoma County offers:


24-Hour Crisis Hotline - (707) 546-1234 - our holtine fields over 3,000 calls a year helping families find safe solutions and exit plans.


A Safe House - the ONLY shelter in Sonoma County that offers refuge for women and children fleeing domestic violence.


A Special Place Preschool - the only therapeutic preschool in the county offering counseling as well as a sound preschool education for children 3-5 years old who have whitnessed violence in their home.


Therapy Program - women and children are given the opportunity to get counseling and therapy in our therapy cottage.  Group and individual sessions are offered.


Encore After Care Program - graduates of our Safe House receive ongoing support services for up to two years.


How you can help:


$50 - provides three hours of counseling to a child who has whitnessed domestic violence


$100 - two nights of safe refuge at our Safe House


$250 - one month of 24-hour crisis hotline services


$500 - six weeks of meals for children at A Special Place Preschool
