The Delta Tau Delta colony at the University of Maryland needs your help in supporting the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation's fight against juvenile type 1 diabetes (T1D). Each year, more than 15,000 children and 15,000 adults in the United States find out that they have T1D. That’s about 40 kids and 40 adults each and every day. Currently, this disease is incurable and remains with a person for life. It is the 7th leading cause of death in the United States and many other health conditions, such as heart & kidney disease and nerve damage, arise from diabetic complications. All donations go to benefit JDRF, the only global diabetes foundation with a strategic plan to end T1D. Any and all donations are welcomed and greatly appreciated by our fraternity and by the people who suffer from this disease.
