This is not my contribution. This is what YOU ARE DOING to help provide a chance for these children with cancer to feel normal. This is simply the avenue that has been provided. First off, realize that the $2 billion goal is tongue in cheek. The goal is simply to raise as much money as we can to help provide a meaningful experience for these children. Camp Rap-a-Hope prides itself on being both wholehearted and whimsical, hence the $9 billion goal. The Bring Home the Bacon race is a fun excuse for a fund raiser. Bacon is served every day at Camp and it is many of the children's favorite part of Camp. If you donate any money at all, then I will wake up early the Tuesday of Camp (the day of the raise) to participate in the festivities. Otherwise, I might just sleep in. Is that what you really want? For me to be a lazy sloth when children with cancer are waking up early to watch this race? Please visit camprapahope.org to check out the wonderful things your money goes to. Thank you so much for your time and your support of this great cause.
