UR HOME: You're home; your home
Organized by: Vanessa Williams
UR HOME: A nondiscriminatory housing and homeownership project for program participants aspiring to achieve affordable, accessible, sustainable housing with programs implemented to promote stable shelter in place, to support its beneficiaries; to alleviate and to obliterate those identified risks and issues individuals and families face that contribute to chronic homelessness.
Donations to the UR HOME project will contribute to present program costs to sustain for a full calendar year one family of three - a single father with two children: a son, age 13 and a daughter, age 11.
In addition, contributions will allow debt free below market property acquisition in a desirable neighborhood where single family homes abound and there are sought after schools in a recommended school district.
Families gather outdoors to exercise pets; exercise individually as well as in groups; for play; sport; gardening; and, work around the house.
Below market property acquisition is a necessary function of programming to service those within the community who face the threat of or who experience any aspect of homelessness including ineligibility, illiteracy, chronic employment without proper compensation or due to lack of living wage, joblessness, educational barriers, medical/health issues, broken families, instability, and any identified issues that make stable shelter and homeownership inaccessible.
Funds collected will be held in trust by Chase bank.
Going forth in faith... May God bless you.
