We are celebrating our 6th YEPPiversary! YEPP opened its doors for the first time on March 1st, 2011. WE ARE STILL HERE! As part of our celerbation, we are inviting our friends, supporters and community partners to support us meeting our fundraising goal.
YEPP is also opening its newest show Forging From Fire in March 23-26 at the Athenaeum Theatre. For more information about the show, click here.
YEPP is an organization that seeks a safe environment for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer youth experiencing homelessness to explore their history, investigate new ways to address their struggles and celebrate their strengths through the process of developing a theatrical performance piece.
As part of our program, we provide direct services and advocacy to YEPP participants around housing, employment, educational, health and legal services, food and transportation resources, among many others. We also facilitate workshops and trainings to other youth workers and organizations about how to work with LGBTQ youth as well as traveling around the country performing and facilitating dialogues about LGBTQ youth homelessness.
