The YWCA of Duluth needs your help! During the month of October we are participating in the Purple Purse Campaign to end domestic violence. When you donate to this campaign monies will be used to provide safe housing to young, new mothers, adult and youth education on domestic violence, and community initiatives to address domestic violence in the Twin Ports area. 

The YWCA provides safe, supportive housing and 24/7 case management for teenage mothers through the Young Mother's Supportive Housing Program; comprehensive early education, parent education, and Circle of Security programming through our Early Childhood Education Center; and leadership, STEM, life skill, and social justice education in our Girl Power! and Mentor Duluth programs. Domestic violence, whether it be physical, sexual, emotional, economic, or technological in nature, impacts many of the women and young girls we serve. The YWCA is committed to providing community programs, enhancing outreach services, and creating new community partnerships in order to address this heartwrenching challenge within our community.  

The YWCA has been supporting and empowering women since 1893 and we hope that you will take a moment today to make a contribution so that we are able to continue to make a difference in our community.
