Started in 1979, the DVP’s primary focus is to empower victims of domestic violence by providing assistance to achieve independence, self-sufficiency and a life free from violence. The DVP provides: A 24-Hour Domestic Violence Hotline; a 24-hour Emergency Shelter; Domestic Violence Services Center; Legal Services; Children’s Programs; Educational & Outreach and Domestic Violence Training and Certification.
