YWCA Greenwich is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all.
YWCA Domestic Abuse Services is committed to the physical safety and emotional well-being of adults and children who are victims of domestic violence, providing counseling, shelter, court advocacy, and two 24/7 hotlines. All of these services are free, safe, empowering and confidential. Through outreach, training and education, YWCA raises community awareness of domestic violence and the struggles faced by its victims. YWCA builds collaborative relationships with community organizations to remove barriers to safety and improve victims’ access to housing, legal services, childcare and other services.
YWCA provides an environment that fosters the empowerment of individuals who have had their sense of personal safety and freedom taken from them. YWCA services are provided free to victims and their families.
In addition, YWCA Greenwich offers over 125 community programs and services. Services for domestic violence victims programs, women's leadership and racial justice are free.
