YOUR GIFT SAVES LIVES - "When I arrived at the YWCA I become someone - my life mattered." Roberta, YWCA Shelter and Supportive Housing Resident. Please help our YWCA continue to change lives.
In partnership with our community, the YWCA of Western Massachusetts seeks to raise $150,000 from October 1 through October 27th to support the critical services provided to victims and survivors of domestic violence. In addition, the YWCA of Western MA strives to improve awareness and increase advocacy. For the past 147 years, the YWCA of Western MA has provided life-saving services to our most vulnerable community members including emergency shelter, individual and group counseling, court and medical advocacy as well as children who witness violence and supervised visitation services. During the month of October, as our community honors the work and memory of those lives lost to domestic violence, the YWCA hopes to raise funds necessary to expand services to all those in need.
