BENEFITING: GOODTIMES PROJECT
EVENT DATE: May 30, 2015
The men of the Zeta Psi fraternity at University of Washington are putting on an amazing race throughout Seattle. Participants are encouraged to put teams together to race from the UW campus through downtown Seattle and back in hopes of becoming the first champions of the Zetor Games. We are asking teams to reach out and raise money for the Goodtimes Project, a summer camp put on for children with cancer.
Although we still believe that funding for cancer research is important, we also believe in focusing on the emotional aspect when it comes to children with cancer. Many families pay huge amounts of money for cancer treatment and don't have the financial ability to pay for their children to attend summer camps. By funding a free summer camp (staffed by volunteers) where children with cancer and their siblings can attend, we are helping to provide a positive environment full of fun and support for the fight against cancer.
Help us to not only exceed our fundraising goal, but spread the word, sharing our event so we can continue to put on the Zetor Games and support this great cause!
